Bang & Olufsen, which you know as a maker of high-end audio and video products, is “going iPhone.” Their app is called BeoLink and it works across a range of Apple’s portable products, including the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.
The free application “expands and extends the experience delivered via Bang & Olufsen’s Master Link Gateway” by giving access to audio and video, as well as the home automation system.
In real life this means that you can control music, TV, light and even front door from your beloved device.
BeoLink relies on WiFi to send signals to the rest of the e-house, and in case you wonder it was designed by Ikatu.
In a nutshell, if you own the Bang & Olufsen’s equipment, you’ll want to grab this app. It’s free after all (you’ve already spent a small fortune on B&O’s stuff) and it will make you lazier than ever. A dedicated remote is a thing of the past, right?
