Nice… the HTC Desire is now available in the UK SIM-Free, from more than one e-tailer – however the only one that contacted me direct is eXpansys (see pic above), so they get dibs on the linkback 🙂
We all know a lot about the Desire already, but having got one in my grasp now (finally), I can say it’s an exceptionally good device – providing a level of polish that dethrones the iPhone (yes, I can say that as an iPhone owner too). I’ve yet to get the full feeling for whether it’s a better long-term usage device, and am a little concerned about the level of music integration I’m going to find – but on the face of things, all the app/widget/shortcut integrations on to the homescreen are nothing short of excellent.
The Desire is £439.99 SIM-Free at eXpansys, or you can lock yourself in to an 18/24 month contract with Vodafone, or T-Mobile and pay a bit less. Your choice.
