It seems a single device isn’t enough for Puma, and to be fair we’ve already heard a successor (or more of them) is/are coming. But now we’re hearing one of the upcoming devices could be an Android-powered smartphone.
We don’t have all the details — it’s still a rumor, after all — but the word is that Sagem will make the Puma smartphone, and the two companies will launch it at some point during 2011. Moreover, we’re hearing the forthcoming device will boast some kind of social networking client that will allow users to cyber-schmooze while on the go, and a mobile shopping app (though we don’t know what kind of a shopping app). Whether it will also rock a solar panel on the back is a mystery at the moment, but we’re not seeing a reason for not repeating a good (and environmentally friendly) practice.
As soon as we hear something new, you’ll be the first to know. Stay tuned, k?
