Bill Gates was pushing tablet computing long before it became a plot point on sitcoms, so what does Microsoft’s co-founder and former CEO think of Apple’s “magical” tablet?
It’s okay. The scenarios aren’t that clear. But it’s good looking. [Steve Jobs] does good design, and [the iPad] is absolutely a good example of that.
Riveting, I know. It will be interesting to see how the success of the iPad will impact Microsoft. There are a bevy of tablets on the horizon that will hit rocking Windows 7 (the HP Slate comes to mind). While the latest version of Windows has much-improved touch support, it will be tough to match the finger-friendliness of the iPad.
