Free Pre anyone? That’s what you can get at Bell these days, thanks to a sizable drop on their 2 and 3-year contracts. Head into any Bell location, and the Palm Pre is yours for free on a new 2 OR 3-year signature. No strings attached here, all you’ll need to do is sign up for the appropriate voice/data plan, and you’re rockin’.
I was wondering when this was going to happen. Late last year the folks at WirelessWave put the Pre up for free… and usually when they do that, Bell follows suit… Looks like it took Bell about 4 months. Good on Bell for offering the Pre as a freebie on both the 2 and 3 year options. Not sure I’ve ever seen that before out of a Canadian carrier. A 2-year contract will no doubt be much more attractive to those wanting to update and upgrade their phone as often as possible… and when you consider Palm’s current situation, who knows where the company and webOS will be a month from now, let alone 2 years.
