Apptizr, the service that provides iPhone users with personalized app recommendations and which we covered in the past, announced that it has crossed the 10 million apps recommended mark. As part of its “10 millions recommendations served” press release, they also shared some insights on what people like.
Not surprisingly, Games and Entertainment — two of the most crowded and competitive categories — are most popular among the users. Similarly, Productivity and Utilities are high on the user demand list, while apps in Books and Education do not result in as many downloads or purchases, despite the fact that the category is over-crowded.
And that’s just the beginning of their findings. Apptizr prepared a full report, detailing top liked apps, top downloaded apps, percentage of apps liked and rated, and so on. You can download it for free from here. (PDF)
