International iPad Shipping Dates Delayed… Again?

International iPad Shipping Dates Delayed?

Chalk this up to high-demand, or perhaps even sly strategy, but the folks at Apple have delayed international shipping dates on the iPad yet again. If you recall, when Apple started up the pre-order machine for international customers, the shipping date changed from May 28th to June 7th. Not a huge deal. However, if you take a closer look at some of the international stores, you’ll notice the June 7th date has changed to read ‘June’. That’s it… Just ‘June’. (check out the Canadian Apple Store to see for yourself)

C’mon Apple, we’ve played this game before!

No matter which way you slice it, Apple seems to be having troubles keeping up with the demand. A blanketed ‘June’ ship date for international folks could mean anything. Second week of June? Last week of June? Sure, why not! Until I have more details I’ll keep my ear to the ground… But if you haven’t pre-ordered one already, it is looking more and more like you won’t see your iPad anytime near June 7th.

Stay tuned for more.
