Samsung SHW-A130 is another South Korea-only device that is heading to the two leading mobile operators in the country – SK Teleom and KT. Available in white, black and red colors – it sits somewhere in the mid-range segment of the market, packing such features as 2.4-inch QVGA display, 2-megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, 77MB of internal memory that is further expandable with microSD cards, and a 1000mAh battery which provides enough juice for up to 6 hours of talk and 430 hours of standby time. As for the pre-installed apps and functions, in addition to Samsung’s standard app suite (calendar, notes, calculator and so on), we also find SOS function, subway maps (which are getting kinda common for Korea-slated phones), e-dictionary and a media player app.
No words on the exact launch date, nor whether the Samsung SHW-A130 will ever leave the shores of Korean peninsula. It doesn’t seem to rock T-DMB mobile TV capability, meaning we could actually see it unveiled in the other parts of the world with some different software pre-installed (i.e. subway maps are out). 😉
