Broadband Genie has recently conducted a small survey of more than thousand of their website visitors to find out how much data mobile broadband customers use. Results are kinda stunning with most users having no idea how much data they use each month.
Here’s the recap of the results:
- 53.5% answered “Don’t know,”
- 11% of respondents use up to 1 GB,
- 13% – 1-5 GB,
- 9% – 5-10 GB, and
- 14% – 10 GB or more.
In other words, if you’re using mobile broadband services, according to Broadband Genie’s poll, it’s most likely you don’t know how much data you need every month. We advise you to meter your on-the-go Internet consumption to avoid paying more than you need to.
