After launching the iPhone app, WeReward is bringing its “mobile incentive platform” to the Android community. The application/services, which seems to be working like Foursquare, allows users to comment on places and products while on the go, while at the same time earning various awards along the way. In that sense, you can use it to both discover new places and add your two cents on places you’ve visited or products/services you’ve tried. Moreover, you can add images (take photos), and each entry can be shared with friends.
Companies on the other hand are invited to visit WeReward’s website and claim their business. Once that is set, they [companies] can also take advantage of WeReward’s advertising programs to reach new customers.
So what’s next after the iPhone and Android? BlackBerry, of course. The mobile application for RIM’s platform is set to hit the market “withing the next eight weeks.” If that sounds too far for you, picking Foursquare or Gowalla will work just as fine…
