Cricket Wireless is preparing for what they apparently see as a booming Back to School season. The carrier unveiled new phones and plans, including:
- $35 to $60 monthly plans that give consumers unlimited talk, text and web with all telecom taxes and regulatory service fees included.
- $55 True Rate Android plan – which is touted to offer industry’s “best Android value.”
- All-Inclusive Mobile Broadband Service Plans: $40, $50 and $60 on 3G network with tiered pricing so you can plan based on expected monthly usage.
- New devices, including the BlackBerry Curve 8530, Sanyo ZIO by Kyocera and the Samsung Messager Touch. And even more phones will be unveiled in due course.
Probably the two most interesting devices are the Sanyo Zio by Kyocera, which will cost $249.99 and available with an all-inclusive $55 True-Rate Service Plan; and Blackberry Curve 8530, which interested folks will be able to grab for $299.99. Cricket suggests the all-inclusive $60 True-Rate Service Plan with the Curve 8530.
As usual, all phones sold by Cricket require no contract signing…
