Vringo, a provider of video ringtone solutions we covered for few times in the past, has finally found a partner in Europe. It’s Everything Everywhere, the UK’s largest mobile communications company, jointly owned by France Telecom (Orange) and Deutsche Telekom (T-Mobile). As a result, Vringo’s video ringtone service will be made available to a combined customer base of over 30 million customers, though initially Vringo launch will be for Orange UK customers only.
The forthcoming service will consist of a web, WAP and mobile app experience, enabling customers to receive video ringtones and share them with their friends. Users will be able to access Vringo’s extensive content library of over 5,000 video ringtone clips…
Launch date, you ask? It’s set for the fourth quarter of this year.
And in case you wonder, in addition to carrier partners, Vringo has also partnerships with major content providers including T-Pain, Turner, Marvel, Discovery Mobile, Ingrooves and Agence France-Presse.
