Didiom, the folks behind the “stream your own music service,” sent us an email to inform us that their app is finally available for the iPhone and iPod Touch users.
If you recall, Didiom was initially launched in February for BlackBerry and Windows Mobile smartphones, as well as select Samsung devices. Using the service, you can stream your entire audio collection (including music, podcasts, audiobooks and playlists) to your iPhone or iPod Touch directly from your computer.
First you install the desktop component on your PC that will scan the hard drive for audio files and playlists which you can later stream back to the phone. There’s a catch, actually two catches. First, there’s no Mac client, which makes Didiom unusable for a growing army of Mac owners. And second, a $9.99 per year Didiom account it required. Actually, the latter is not the problem considering the benefits…
So what do you say? Are you willing to grab the app for $9.99? If so, please use the link below. 😉
