HTC Desire HD coming to Vodafone UK

The HTC Desire HD is coming to Vodafone UK. One of the most desired Android smartphones to date will now be available on two carriers in Britain – Vodafone and T-Mobile UK (which earlier announced it will sell the phone) with more to come at some point in the future.

Unfortunately we don’t have the official launch date, but we’ve no doubts the Desire HD will be available just in time for the Christmas shopping season, possibly even before.

As you may know, we’re talking about an all-touchscreen device that runs Android 2.2 Froyo with HTC’s own Sense UI on top of it. Feature wise, there’s a 1GHz CPU (Qualcomm’s Snapdragon) under the hood, 8-megapixel camera, huge 4.3-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen, HSPA and WiFi connectivity, A-GPS, Bluetooth, microSD memory and so on.

We’ll definitely keep watching for all the Desire HD news and as soon as something cool comes up (i.e. some operator announces it will sell the phone), we’ll let you know. Stay tuned in the meantime, k?
