Zipcar users in Boston can get a free Jabra CRUISER

Bluetooth accessory maker Jabra is teaming up with car-sharing service Zipcar to offer the Jabra CRUISER, a Bluetooth in-car speakerphone, to lucky Zipsters in Boston. There are no guarantees you will get Jabra’s free device, as winners are selected at random. The promotion takes place through the month of October and will be running at each of Zipcar’s 325 pick-up locations in Boston, coinciding with the new Massachusetts safe driving law.

If you don’t know what the Jabra CRUISER is all about, you should know it’s a “sleek device offering superior audio quality, a low-profile design and in-car convenience.” Its trick is in using the so called Noise Blackout technology, a dual microphone system that eliminates street and traffic sounds while optimizing voice quality.

And if you want to grab the CRUISER without “Zipcar’s interference,” you can do that at AT&T, Best Buy, and Verizon Wireless retail stores. The suggested retail price is $99.
