Gresso unveiled yet another luxury feature phone called Luxor World Time. From the title of this post you can figure out there’s something weird about this device and it’s not the price as by now we got used to Gresso’s “modest” pricing. The weird is that “World Time” part as the phone comes with a six independent “Swiss clockwork mechanisms” embedded on the back. Sure, there’s something to be said about the usefulness of having those 6 clocks visible at all times, but in the smartphone world “there’s an app for that.” The idea here seems more to show off just how cool and busy you (as a buyer of this phone) are.
The mentioned six watches show the current time in “the five main world business centers” including New York, London, Paris, Tokyo, Moscow, while the sixth watch can be set to show the current time in your city.
Of course, let’s not forget the high-end materials used to build the Gresso Luxor World Time. Let me disappoint some of you – there’s no gold in here. Rather, Gresso used “superlight titanium alloy” along with high-tech ceramics and sapphire crystal. If that’s good enough for you and you’re willing (crazy?) to spend $6,000 on a phone, feel free to proceed to Gresso’s website.
