Motorola Defy, the company’s rugged Android smartphone, is now available in Germany through Phone House. The handset retailer is asking 350 EUR for the IP67-certified device, which actually is not that much considering the specs (and the fact this is a SIM free deal). Alternatively, folks can opt to grab the phone with a contract in which case they could pay as little as 1 EUR, while agreeing on monthly payments.
Speaking of specs, the Defy comes with a 3.7-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen with Gorilla Glass, 5-megapixel camera, HSPA and WiFi connectivity, DLNA support, GPS, 512MB of RAM, 800MHz CPU, 2GB of onboard storage that is further expandable with microSD cards. Android 2.1 with MOTOBLUR UI is running the show, while fast typing is ensured thanks to the Swype integration. In terms of color options, Moto’s baby is available in black and “white on black.”
Our German readers can get more information on plans offered with the Motorola Defy from the Phone House’s website.
