Turning your iPhone 4 into something like, oh, I don’t know, lets say an R2-D2 is pretty easy. Just slap a sticker (er, decal) on the back and you’re good to go. It’s true that every once and awhile an email will end up in my inbox, pointing me towards some nifty iPhone 4 enhancement, and today was no different.
Behold, the Vintage Famicom Polycarbonate case for the iPhone 4. Available right now from the good folks at Tanomi (located in Tokyo, Japan), this is more than a simple sticker, it’s a case made from clear polycarbonate… Which, when you think about it is much more awesome than those simple stickers we’ve become accustomed to seeing. This case actually uses a durable UV printing technology to prevent scratches and damage, ensuring the Famicom design stays vibrant for years to come… or at least for as long as you choose to use the case.
My Japanese ain’t so hot these days, but from what I can tell the case will run you about 2,200 Yen. That works out to roughly $27 USD.
