It’s almost time for all of my American friends and colleagues to give thanks. That’s right, Thanksgiving is coming up fast-and-furious in the U.S., and thankfully, the folks at CHOW.com ‘have an app for that’. 🙂
The app in question is called the Thanksgiving Dinner Coach, and is available in the App Store for your pleasure. The goal of the Thanksgiving Coach is to help you put together the perfect Thanksgiving dinner. Key features found within include:
- Nine classic Thanksgiving dishes tested by the expert staff of CHOW, including turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and pumpkin pie. Users can choose to cook only one, or cook them all.
- Shopping list, customized based on what recipes you choose to cook.
- Comprehensive timeline that changes based on the recipes you want to cook.
Just thinking about turkey and stuffing is making me hungry… and a little bit tired. The full list of dishes found within include a roasted turkey, apple and sage stuffing, turkey gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, sauteed green beans, roasted sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie and brand-apple crunch… Drooooooooool.
