SPB TV now available for the iPad; Hits the 2 million users milestone

SPB Software announced an “optimized for iPad” version of its mobile TV client – SPB TV. As expected, the updated application takes advantage of the larger screen estate (when compared to the iPhone and iPod Touch) Apple’s tablet has to offer.

All of the existing features remain unchanged — meaning you’ll be able to access more than 150 subscription-free channels from 17 countries, quickly preview channels (via picture-in-picture mode), use integrated TV guide, and quickly switch between the growing number of channels. On the last note, SPB has recently added Euronews to its channel line-up.

In the same press release, SPB Software also talk about an important milestone they’ve reached – their free to download TV application has been downloaded by more than 2 million users and I’m sure that number will keep growing.

SPB TV is an ad-supported app where ads are shown while the stream is buffering when user opens a channel. You can grab it from a link below…
