PediaCare Shopper’s Guide is like an iDoctor for your kids

While your iPhone won’t change a diaper or burp the baby, it can come in handy for many things – even make you smarter. PediaCare knows that, hence they’re launching PediaCare Shopper’s Guide, a free iPhone application to help parents of children ages 1-11 select the product which best addresses the cold symptoms their child is experiencing.

The new app won’t replace your doctor, but it will help you grab some over-the-counter product to address the flu. Moreover, Shopper’s Guide will also help parents to understand which products require a dosage recommendation from a pediatrician based on age restrictions and will provide a link to the PediaCare website for full product descriptions including dosage directions.

Unsurprisingly, the application is launched alongside PediaCare’s new cold/flu/fever medicines (with and without acetaminophen) for children and infants – in kid-pleasing flavors. In total, the company has eleven different products for this cold/flu season, helping fill the gap left when Tylenol was recalled this past year…
