SPB TV launched for Samsung’s bada smartphones

SPB Software is bringing its SPB TV product to yet another platform – bada, which is used in a total of 6 Samsung devices. As a result, owners of various Wave smartphones can enjoy over 150 channels in more than 20 languages while on the go.

As that’s the case with other versions, SPB TV for bada comes with full screen TV player with picture-in-picture mode, TV browser with fast channel launching and switching, integrated TV guide, on-screen control panel and advanced video codec support.

SPB TV is available as a free download from Samsung Apps and all it requires is a reliable 3G or WiFi network connection for proper streaming. Recently, the mobile app become the winner in “Useful Applications” category in bada Developer Challenge Russia.

In addition to bada, SPB TV also works on Android, iPhone/iPad, Symbian, Windows Mobile, BlackBerry and webOS smartphones as well as on feature phones. Last month SPB TV reached the two million users milestone…
