How the Grinch Stole Christmas! and The Cat in the Hat Released hit the Android Market

With Christmas around the corner, everyone is getting super busy. You need to buy gifts, decorate your house and play with kids, if you have any. If you’re in that group (with kids), there’s so much on your plate and kids can, let’s face it, be a pain. No more – all you need to do is give them your phone so they could play while you’re doing other things.

In that sense we bring you the news involving Oceanhouse Media which launched two of its best-selling digital children’s book apps for the Android smartphones. The applications/digital books are “The Cat In The Hat” and “How The Grinch Stole Christmas!,” each available for $3.99 from the Android Market.

As you probably know, both titles are written by Dr. Seuss in 1957, and both are also available for the iOS powered devices — the launch of Android apps comes on the heels of the apps’ success in the AppStore.

And it’s not just about fun with these two apps – to promote reading in young children, individual words are highlighted as the story is read and words zoom up when pictures are touched…
