A company called iMovee prepared an interesting product for this year’s CES. Called Mobeo, it is a wireless accessory that is said to combine Live Broadcast TV, live streaming TV/Video-On-Demand and Social Media networks. This combination iMovee calls “Telefusion” and it allows smartphone and tablet device owners to not only watch TV on their beloved gadgets, but also to exchange messages over their Facebook and Twitter accounts while doing so.
Among supported platforms, iMovee mentions devices running iOS, Android and Windows Phone 7, but it seems to me pretty much any solid smartphone will do the job, those running Symbian included.
As for the battery life, you can enjoy TV for up to 4 hours after which you’ll have to recharge Mobeo. We have Siano’s extremely low power consumption Advanced Mobile DTV Receiver to thank for the long battery life.
Unfortunately we don’t have information on availability and pricing. We do know you could see Mobeo in action in Las Vegas at their booth (#9540), which is located in the Mobile DTV Tech Zone…
