Behr Process Corporation, which is a supplier of architectural paint and exterior wood care products, wants a piece of the iAction. Their app is called ColorSmart and it offers consumers an on-the-go platform to “find the perfect colors for any home decorating project.”
The application comes with a range of features, such as the capability to decorate a room image digitally and preview color on walls, trim and accents. Of course, sharing element is also built-in, allowing for sharing of those virtual rooms with friends and followers on Facebook and Twitter.
Users can browse BEHR’s Premium Plus Ultra and Premium Plus range of over 2,000 colors either by color families or by entering a BEHR color name or number. Moreover, there’s an option to use an existing photo (or take the new one) to get up the three closest matching paint colors. And once you find the color you like, you can save it to your Favorites for quick access at a later point.
Finally with the paint calculator you can figure out how much paint you need to purchase, while the store locator gets you directions to the nearest Home Depot store.
