eScrap lets iPhone users tweak their photos before sharing them

Sometimes you may want to add some text to the photo just taken (or the one that sits in your library). Heck you may also need to add an effect to your photo but the default Camera app doesn’t allow you to do that. Third-party camera apps can be used for effects but I haven’t seen one that allows adding of text on a photo.

Enter eScrap. It’s a simple image editor for iOS devices that enables you to “enhance and share digital photos.” Using it, you will be able to transform photos into “whimsical pictorials,” personal keepsakes, or just really cool-looking messages.

There are few editing tools included, including backgrounds, elements, fonts, filters and layouts. Best of all, you can try before you buy and start with eScrap Lite. Once you find it useful (or at least cool), you can always pour out 2 bucks ($1.99) to grab the full version which comes with additional features.
