Unannounced Nokia X1-00 is at the FCC

Thanks to the FCC we know that Nokia’s X series of devices is about to get a new member – X1-00. As you can imagine from the model number, we’re talking about an entry-level handset which will most likely cost less than $100. Actually it may be offered for as low as $50 sans any contracts signed.

Details are scarce at the moment. We don’t see a trace of a photo camera and considering the phone’s “low-end nature,” 3G may not be on board too.

However, we do see a speaker on the back and know that the FCC is playing with “made in India” hardware, hinting us who may get this baby first.

I would expect to see Nokia unveiling the X1 along with other phones during the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Hopefully, at that point we’ll also hear something more on the N9 – cause that’s one device we care the most as far as Nokia is concerned. 😉
