There’s a new messaging app/service available for the iOS and Android users called HighNote. As you can imagine, we’re talking about the application that works like textPlus or Kik Messenger, relying on mobile data to keep the conversation going.
Speaking of “conversation,” HighNote goes way beyond simple text messages, supporting other content types as well — including maps, music, video, photos, greetings and customized formatting. It is said that all these features are on board to “capture the best of SMS and the richness of social networking apps without their limitations.”
Messaging between HighNote users is free whether they [users] use the application on an Android or iOS-powered device. When messaging non-HighNote users, a web link will be sent out to any phone or email, which will allow them to view the message via a Web browser.
Finally, the future plans include supporting other platforms like BlackBerry, Symbian and Windows Phone 7. In the meantime, Android users can search for “highnote” in the Android Market, while those with the iPhone, iPod Touch and/or iPad can simply click on a link below.
