AT&T mobile hotspot app coming soon

AT&T has laid out the plans for its mobile hotspot app and it said that the service will be available with the HTC Inspire 4G.

That’s not all though, if you’re already using your iPhone or other device to tether, you’ll get an extra 2 GB of data for that plan for free. You still won’t be able to create the hotspot but that extra 2 GB should come in handy. This kicks in beginning Feb. 13.

If you’re using the AT&T mobile hotspot app, you’ll be able to sign up for 4 GB a month for $45. You still have the option of getting the 2 GB for $20.

“Our customers want to connect as many devices as possible to the nation’s fastest mobile broadband network, which is getting faster with 4G,” said David Christopher, chief marketing officer, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets, in a prepared statement. “We want to extend the benefits of an additional 2GB to smartphone customers on our tethering plan. This delivers more value today for the price they’re already paying – and that’s what our customers want.”

Not too shabby, what do you think friends?
