Not sure how we missed it, but Nokia has apparently showcased a brand new Symbian UI during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. From the image above, we clearly see the improvements that include a smaller status bar, better widgets which are no longer confined to their small rectangular enclosure and new buttons at the bottom of the screen.
Moreover as you can see from the image above, that’s the Nokia N8 running the new UI, hinting us a firmware update is / may be coming. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait for the first Symbian^4 devices to get better user experience.
