BlackBerry 10 Aristo coming with quad-core Krait, according to leaked spec sheet

The BlackBerry Aristo is an upcoming member of the BlackBerry A-series devices, and according to a leaked spec sheet, the Aristo may be the BlackBerry 10 device of your dreams. The Aristo would come with a quad-core Snapdragon Krait processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, as well as a 4.65″ display with 1,280 x 720 resolution, and 2GB of RAM. Full specs for the Aristo are allegedly as follows:

  • Qualcomm APQ8064 Krait Quad Core 1.5GHz
  • 136 x 68 x 8.85mm
  • GSM – Quad band (not specified) – WCDMA – 2100/1900/850-850MHz – LTE –
    AWS/700/1900/850MHz – EU/APAC – GSM – Quad band (not specified) – WCDMA –

  • OCTA Glass OLED 4.65? – 1280 x 720 – 24 bit Colour – 16:9
  • Capacitive All Touch
  • 2GB RAM + 16GB Flash – Hot Swappable MicroSD slot 16GB MicroSD card
  • 802.11 a/b/g/n 2.4GHz/5GHz 4G Mobile Hotspot
  • MicroUSB – MicroHDMI – Wifi Direct – NFC – DLNA – Bluetooth 4.0
  • Stereo speakers – 4 Microphones – Noise Reduction – Wideband AMR

If true, the Aristo could be one behemoth of a device, and could turn some heads when BlackBerry 10 is released early next year. The device rivals the best Android devices out there, and could be what RIM needs to maintain its number 3 spot in the smartphone market. We should learn more about the Aristo in coming weeks, so stay tuned.
