SHLPreVisor, the talent assessment solutions provider, released iPQ Career Planner which is said to be the “first truly behavioral science-based personality and career assessment of its kind” made for the iOS-based devices.

The application itself is available as a free download, but you’ll have to pay a buck (99 cents) to get the report that identifies the most suitable careers for you, as well as summaries of your key skills and strengths. SHLPreVisor says this is the compact, mobile version of the same science and technology that corporations around the world (SHLPreVisor’s clients) use to get the “people intelligence” to help make decisions for recruiting and hiring, as well as executive development and succession planning.

iPQ Career Planner does its magic by presenting you with a set of statements where you select the ones that best present you.

The application can be used by anyone, but the report it generates is particularly ideal for recent graduates, those in the early stages of their careers, or those considering a career change…
