After Chicago, San Francisco and Palo Alto, mobile payments provider Bling Nation is extending its FanConnect social rewards program to the Austin area, allowing businesses to connect with their customers through rewards platform on Facebook.
Among the local businesses already participating, we find such companies as Dominican Joe, Jeanie’s Java, Portable, Silver Grill, Simply Fit Meals, 4 Seasons Salon & Spa, Hopdoddy, Sugar Shack BBQ, Bits and Druthers and Texas French Bread. FanConnect will enable these brick-and-mortar businesses to provide their customers with customized rewards and discount offers on their [customers] visit. Additionally, customers can then easily share these rewards via Facebook.
As a customer, you sign-up for Bling Nation deals by adding the Bling Nation Facebook app or by viewing a deal a friend has shared on their wall. Once you grab a deal online, you can visit a local business to redeem it, without needing to bring a printed coupon. Furthermore, with every social reward earned, you get to share a special offer with 5 of your fastest Facebook buddies (who pick it up first).
