If T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Virgin Mobile, Cricket, U.S. Cellular and MetroPCS can have it – so can AT&T. Yup they will get to carry the LG Optimus One, as well.
Aside from the name change (we assume the upcoming phone will be called Optimus A) and few design tweaks, it’s safe to bet the phone will stay pretty much the same, specs wise. In that sense, we’re talking about an entry-level Android 2.2 Froyo smartphone with a 3.2-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen, 3.2-megapixel camera, 3G and WiFi connectivity, and a microSD memory card slot.
Unfortunately, we don’t have the exact launch date, but I see no reason why AT&T would postpone the launch. It seems to me the Optimus A is pretty much ready for the prime time and now it’s all about the timing…
