Mobile advertising market keeps growing like crazy. The latest company to get additional money to expand its operations we caught is GoldSpot Media, which is a mobile rich media and video advertising solutions provider. They managed to close $12.05 million in series B funding from Silicon Valley investors Exa Ventures and Berg Enterprises.

Those unfamiliar should know that GoldSpot Media makes mobile rich media ad platform called miSpot, which is a self-serve solution for publishers and advertisers, allowing them to create, manage, distribute and track mobile ad campaigns across smartphone and tablet platforms. Thus far, miSpot has successfully executed mobile rich media and video campaigns for major consumer brands such as Toyota, Hewlett-Packard, Audi, Toshiba, KIA Motors and Brother. The new money will be used to further enhance the platform, support existing customers, and expand sales and marketing.

Finally we have the words of GoldSpot’s CEO and Founder Srini Dharmaji to share. He said: “GoldSpot is the only rich media ad platform that provides rapid ad creation tools for advertisers, to quickly scale the market beyond banners.”
