Apple released the highly anticipated iOS 4.3.2 update for the iPhone and the iPad today. The Verizon iPhone also got a gift this time from Apple and received the iOS 4.2.7 update. The 4.3.2 update should include bug fixes for issues plaguing iOS including the FaceTime camera glitch that caused the iPad 2 to freeze and a troubling roaming issue that affected Verizon Wireless iPad 2 owners. The update notes also confirm iOS 4.3.2 includes the latest security fixes for these iOS devices.
As noted above, Verizon iPhone owners received a similar update with the version number of 4.2.7. This version should contain the same fixes and improvements noted above. This latest iOS update is available for the iPad, iPad 2, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and the iPod touch (3rd and 4th generation).
To apply the update, you need to plug in your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad and let iTunes sync and install the update. If you apply the update, lets us know if your spot anything new in this latest release. Also let us know if it does indeed fix the FaceTime freezing bug and the Verizon roaming issue. Happy updating, folks!
