HTC has updated its Sync software with support for two of their latest Android smartphones – Desire S and Incredible S. As a result, those of you opting to buy one of the two devices will be able to sync data between their PC and smartphone. You will be able to move photos, videos, documents, songs and playlists, as well as have your contacts and bookmarks in sync. Moreover, HTC Sync also allows you to install apps when the phone is connected to a computer.
If you haven’t used it before, you could think of HTC’s software as a sort of iTunes made for HTC smartphones. Alternatively, if connecting your phone to a computer is a pain, you can always rely on a number of cloud-based services to accomplish the same task. Personally that’s the way I prefer and that’s also the way Google envisioned Android to work. Still having an additional option is always a plus in my book. 😉
