RoadAhead helps iPhone users find the best exit ahead on the highway

There are quite a few GPS navigation apps available for the iPhone, most of which cost money to download. RoadAhead doesn’t compete with the likes of Garmin, Navigon and TomTom (among others) – it doesn’t have half of the features these powerful apps have. Rather, it’s a niche app, focused on one thing – to help users find the best exit ahead on the highway for all of their travel needs. As such, RoadAhead isn’t’ as heavy download as apps mentioned above, but it does its job pretty good, or so we hear. Moreover, it’s available as a free download, which is always a big thing among mobile users.

In addition to helping users on a highway, RoadAhead also show merchants located near upcoming exits and provides recommendations based on the user’s specific search criteria. Speaking of search, results are displayed in an easy-to-read list of options ahead, along with user ratings, up-to-the-minute gas…

I’m not sure I would recommend RoadAhead to someone with the full-blown (paid) GPS app running on their iPhone. Sure it can’t hurt to have another option; plus it’s free. However, I would definitely suggest those of you without GPS app to grab it. Hit the link below and take it from there…
