A new Samsung feature phone has been spotted on the Korean company’s German website. Marked C3750, it’s a low-to-mid end slider with specs that include a 2.4-inch QVGA display, 3.2-megapixel camera, FM radio, EDGE data, Bluetooth, memory card slot, media player and 800mAh battery that provides enough juice to keep the phone running for up to 11 hours in talk and up to 500 hours in standby mode. In other words, we’re not talking about the device smartphone savvy users want — rather it’s something for first-time phone buyers and folks who look for basic phone functions plus the camera functionality. In that sense, I would be surprised if the C3750 end up selling for more than 100 EUR SIM-free. Quite the contrary, it will most likely be available for free to anyone willing to commit on a carrier contract.
No word on the availability date. Likewise, we’ve no information when or whether it will hit other European countries…
