SPB TV comes to Windows Phone 7

After reaching a milestone of 6 million users, SPB Software is bringing its popular mobile TV application to yet another platform – Windows Phone 7. The app’s UI has been optimized for Microsoft’s mobile OS, while at the same time packing all of the features SPB TV offers on other platforms. In that sense, Windows Phone 7 users should expect the same selection of over 150 TV channels from more than 20 countries, TV browser with fast channel launching and switching, integrated TV guide with a list of current and upcoming TV shows and on-screen controls. In addition, thanks to the Smooth Streaming technology, the playback of content is optimized by switching video quality in real-time with the stream being adjusted according to the bandwidth capabilities.

SPB TV 2.0 for Windows Phone 7 is available as a free download from the Microsoft Marketplace. SPB Software makes its money from non-intrusive ads which are displayed while the channel is buffering…
