A company called GoalMine launched a new mobile app for iPhone and iPod Touch, Text Master, designed not only to improve users’ text typing skills but also to cheer them up along the way. The application features three modes:
- The (boring) Regular mode which helps to learn and to practice typing fast and accurately,
- The Funny mode that allows forgetting about the accuracy and concentrating on the typing speed, and
- The Challenge mode that allows users to compete in typing speed and accuracy with their friends and family members.
In other words, Text Master is made for people who want to increase their typing skills but find existing typing tutor apps boring. I dig that and I’m sure iOS users would like to type as fast as possible. The question is whether they’re willing to pour out a buck (99 cents) for an app that helps…
