We’ve been talking about FutureDial’s Android PC suite software in the past. Basically what they’re doing is offering a single application that sits on your PC and works like any other PC suite app. As such, the company’s MobileRaptor PC software offers a number of features, including the ability to:
- Backup, share and restore contacts between Android devices and Outlook on the PC.
- Keep calendar entries up-to-date between Android devices and Outlook on the PC.
- Share and save favorite website bookmarks between the Android device and the PC.
- Customize favorite music files on the PC to use as ringtones.
- Transfer and save photos and video files between the Android device and the PC.
- Archive text messages to the PC and also use the PC’s full keyboard to quickly compose and “mass-blast” text messages out to up to 500 recipients.
However, that’s not the news here. The news is that FutureDial’s software is now available at RadioShack’s franchise stores in the form of a pre-paid scratch card for software download. The price you ask? It’s $19.99, well worth if you’re not the “cloud kind of person” and like to have your content stored/backed up locally…
