With the economic crisis still looming, more and more people are turning to discounts. If there are no instant discounts and daily deals, some of you may want to try out rebates, which on the other hand are still hated by many. Prepaid cards made them slightly more bearable, but they still kinda suck, with companies keeping your money for a period of time before returning it to you.
Parago, which is a provider of reward programs, unveiled GoRebate Mobile for Android and iPhone, allowing users to browse for rebates in their area. Moreover, the application also allows accessing of rebates’ terms and conditions (very important), tracking of submitted rebates and card balance, and sharing cool stuff with friends via SMS, email, Facebook and Twitter. Additionally, you can add rebates to favorites and access them at a later point.
At the same time, Parago also provided an interface for merchants to add their own rebates to the platform to reach “value-seeking consumers”…
