Nuance is not just about typing and voice prediction. The company also offers document management software PaperPort and now it has been extended into the cloud. Yep, they want the piece of the “sky fame” with their brand new service called PaperPort Anywhere. As you can imagine, it allows you to keep all your documents at a remote location and access them when needed whether from a desktop PC or a mobile device running Android or iOS (dedicated mobile apps have been released as well). And aside from the web-based interface, there’s also the PaperPort desktop client which syncs all of the documents with PaperPort Anywhere, making sure your files are easily available when you need them.
Of course, sharing and collaboration elements come included as well so that other members of the team can join the party, too.
Nuance PaperPort Anywhere is free for up to one gigabyte of searchable storage space. PaperPort Anywhere Premium with up to 10 GB of storage is $9.99 per month, and $24.99 a month for 50 GB of storage. Mobile apps are available as free downloads.
