KAYAK has updated its ever popular iPhone app, making it even more useful. There are few enhancements included in this release, including:
- New Tours & Attractions feature which allows users to book various tours like Boston’s Duck Boat Tours or audio walking guides right from within the app. In order to make this happen, KAYAK has partnered with GetYourGuide.com.
- Improved UI for Flight Tracker, making it even easier to navigate around while providing more information about flights. A scrolling toolbar tells you the basic information, and two icons on the lower left and right corners of the status box take you to a moving map or bulleted, detailed time stamps on the flight.
- Improved UI for My Trips that punches more information into tighter screen estate. A brief overview of your trip is shown at the My Trips home, and there are also expandable panes including confirmation numbers, booking details, payment and more.
