Verizon Wireless’ Droid Incredible 2 is by no means a bad device. However, it’s also not the best thing you can buy these days, especially when we know that the Motorola Droid Bionic will be launched in the near future. Still, it’s a decent smartphone with pretty good specs that include a 4-inch WVGA touchscreen, 8-megapixel camera on the back, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera (for video calls), 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, while Android 2.2 Froyo is running the show.
And now (here’s the actual news part), it will be available in white. Best Buy will exclusively sell the white version of HTC-made device, offering it for $149 on a two-year contract with Verizon Wireless. I’m not sure it’s worth that money considering the prices of other smartphones offered today, but if you want your smartphone in white, you don’t get much of a choice anyways. So if the smartphone color if your priority, you’ll be glad to know that starting from August 21st – you’ll be able to satisfy that “need” by buying the Incredible 2 from Best Buy. In the meantime, we advise you to check out our official Droid Incredible 2 review from here.
