StumbleUpon has updated its mobile apps for iOS and Android-based devices. Version 2.0 looks like it has been revamped from the ground up, featuring the all new “Explore Box,” which was already available on the web-based service since August.

Moreover, there’s swipe to stumble capability that allows you to simply swipe your screen from right to left to explore page after page of new content.

In addition, both iOS and Android apps got a new, improved interfaces with “vibrant thumbnail images” and a “crisp new look.” I like how the new app looks on my Galaxy S II, though I would probably pick some other words. 😉

Finally, and this is where it becomes really cool, StumbleUpon for Android now works on Honeycomb tablets, which is pretty important for those of you with the Motorola Xoom, Asus Transformer or some other Android-based tablet (presuming you actually use StumbleUpon).

StumbleUpon remains a free download and you can grab it from a link below.
