We’ve already told you Nokia has started shipping the N9, its first commercially available MeeGo device. We also said that Australians will be among the first one to get the new phone and voila… one of the operators in country has started taking orders for the all-touchscreen device.
Telstra was the first company to jump on the MeeGo bandwagon but it’s safe to assume Vodafone and Optus will follow shortly, too.
Price wise, the N9 is available for AU$849 outright, though there’s also the option to get it on a contract, with plans starting at AU$49 per month. What’s more, while supplies last, Telstra is bundling a free Bluetooth headset with every N9 purchase.
So if you wanted to get arguably the sexiest phone Nokia has ever made and you also happen to live in Australia – now’s the time to act. Check out this page for additional information and take it from there…
