Remember Jil Sander Mobile LG-E906, the fancy-lookin’ Windows Phone device we talked about back in August? Well, it’s now available in the UK, exclusively through Expansys. The popular phone retailer is selling the smartphone for 299.99 GBP, which translates into about $466. Yeah, I know that’s a lot for a device that doesn’t actually sit at the very top of the range, but it does look nice, thanks to LG’s co-operation with the famed fashion house.
Under the hood, the LG E906 is pretty much the Optimus 7 on steroids. It comes with a 3.8-inch WVGA touchscreen, 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera, 16GB of built-in storage, while Windows Phone Mango is running the show. All said, I’m not sure Expansys will be able to reach the tipping point and will most likely end up with quite a few devices sitting on its shelves.
