We’ve already talked about NXP Software’s LifeVibes CineXPlayer Xvid player for iPhone in the past. Now it has been updated to include support for Dolby Digital Plus audio, delivering a “living-room movie experience” for on-the-go users.
Not sure what Dolby Digital Plus is all about? Here’s a snippet from the press release explaining everything on my behalf:
Dolby Digital Plus improves the quality of sound from content creation to playback. It delivers an optimal audio experience across a range of portable devices, whether listening through headphones or built-in speakers, or sending an HD entertainment experience with discrete multichannel audio to the home theater from the smartphone in your pocket.
And if you haven’t tried out CineXPlayer, now’s your chance. This versatile app lets you preload full movie files so you can watch them even when there’s no network signal around, which is neat and definitely worth 3 bucks (actually $2.99) in my book. 😉
